KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Aiming to give their staff a happy Thanksgiving, Beacon Health gave each of their employees their very own turkey on Thursday.
The Health System, with hospitals and doctor’s offices throughout Southwest Michigan, has made an annual event of the giveaway.
Beacon Health employs about 11,000 people, and each are able to get a turkey.

Staff members lined up in cars outside of Beacon’s Kalamazoo hospital, and some even walked out to pick one up during their shift. Unclaimed birds are donated to local food banks…
