Update: Be prepared for dense fog in Southern Michigan until Monday morning

An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Sunday at 12:22 p.m. EST for lake effect snow and showers with gusty winds until 6 p.m. EST for Branch County.

“Scattered to numerous lake effect snow showers are expected this afternoon into early this evening. Accumulations will be light, generally an inch or less. However, below freezing temperatures and gusty southwest winds to 30 mph will lead to reduced visibilities and patchy blowing snow in heavier snow showers. Roads may be slick in spots,” states the weather service…
