Building a snowman when I was a kid was so exciting after we finally got some snow in Indiana. When I moved to Michigan I couldn’t believe how much snow we got here. And by then my kids were growing and we were rolling those big balls of snow, stacking them to make our beautiful snowman creation.
Sticks for arms, a carrot for a nose, anything we could find for eyes, and toping it off with a hat and scarf.
I still see the good old traditional snowman in my neighborhood today. Some so sweet that you know the kids living there are so proud of their work even if it’s a little, uh, interesting.
Others are a bit more creative and you can tell Mr. Snowman and family took a little more work.
But, someone in Kalamazoo went way over my snowman building pay grade and created an amazing snowman, or better yet, a snow sculpture.
