KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Permanent guardrails have replaced temporary barriers along the new US-131 bridges in Kalamazoo, marking the latest milestone in the years-long project.
Both the northbound and southbound US-131 bridges (over KL Avenue and the Amtrak rail line) are now fully open, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
