KALAMAZOO, Mich. — New data shows small businesses are struggling to find workers as the number of layoffs this year are reaching numbers not seen since the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report from consulting firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas.
The worker shortage is even having an impact at some West Michigan Businesses, including the Blue Dolphin in downtown Kalamazoo.
Owner Steve Stamos told News Channel 3 he’s struggling to find workers.
