COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The city of Kalamazoo has lifted a boil water advisory following infrastructure repairs.
Beginning Wednesday, an advisory was in effect for a number of city of Kalamazoo water customer addresses in Cooper Township, including along North 14th Street, Cutter’s Ridge, Hunters Crossing, Liverpool Avenue, Rapids Way Street, St. Luke Avenue, West D Avenue, West E Avenue and Wild Flower Path.
The city of Kalamazoo said infrastructure repairs caused a loss of pressure, which can allow bacteria to enter the system. The boil water advisory was precautionary; testing Saturday confirmed no bacteria had been found in the system…
