Nina‘s Taqueria has been a gem in Augusta for many years now, 27 to be exact. The small town has a cute downtown area, and Nina‘s has been one of the main places to stop for lunch or dinner for locals or for those passing through.
Sadly, Nina has announced that her family restaurant is closing its Augusta location.

But this isn’t just a closing of a restaurant, as Nina put it in her Facebook post, they didn’t just grow up visiting Nina‘s Taqueria, her family grew up inside of those walls:
Cousins running around the back, the smell of food that felt like home, family gatherings that always seemed to start or end at the restaurant… so many of our memories were made there. It wasn’t just a building — it was part of our family…
