BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A student’s death prompted the closure of Northwestern Academy of Visual and Performing Arts Tuesday, Battle Creek Public Schools announced.
On Monday, a student suffered a medical emergency during physical education class. The student was transported to the hospital, where they died, school officials say.
While Northwestern is closed Tuesday, all other schools in the district remain open…
