Kalamazoo County taqueria set to close after 27 years

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — A taqueria that has stood on East Michigan Avenue, near the Calhoun County line, since 1998 will serve its last plates Friday, Dec. 19.

Nina’s Taqueria, 111 E. Michigan Ave. in Augusta, will be closing soon, but its sister restaurant in Battle Creek will remain open, owner Martha Martinez confirmed.
