Suspect in Kalamazoo restaurant shooting extradited to Michigan, arraigned on 25 charges

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A 19-year-old man has been extradited from Minnesota and was arraigned Tuesday on multiple charges connected to a shooting at a restaurant that injured five people.

Court documents show Na’Ledge Quincy Lovon Williams Chamberlain was extradited on Monday. He faces 25 felony counts that stem from a Sept. 20 shooting at Two Fellas Grill on Michigan Avenue in Kalamazoo.

Investigators with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety say Chamberlain started shooting after a fight broke out at the restaurant.

“The suspect fired multiple times inside of the restaurant. He continued to fire toward the occupied building after he exited the restaurant while he was in the parking lot, thereby putting a lot of lives in danger that were inside of that restaurant,” KDPS Chief David Boysen said last month
