KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Inside the Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes warehouse, volunteers carefully sort through donated food, checking expiration dates, separating items by category, and preparing boxes that will soon go out to families and pantries throughout the region.
This is an everyday need, according to Greta Faworski, associate director of Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes, to serve the hundreds of people that rely on them to have food on the table.
