BATTLE CREEK, MI – The former CEO of a Battle Creek nonprofit who is accused of defrauding the state of thousands of dollars now faces additional felony charges.
Damon Brown, the former CEO of R.I.S.E. Corp. was arraigned and charged with welfare fraud over $500 on Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Calhoun County District Court, according to court records. His bond in the case is set at $10,000.
