Broc Lowry to return to Western Michigan for 2026

The 2025 Western Michigan Broncos took the MAC by storm.

Western Michigan overcame an 0-3 start in non-conference play and rattled off a 7-1 conference record to qualify for the MAC Championship Game. In Detroit, the Broncos seized the opportunity and knocked off Miami (OH) 23-13 for their first MAC title since 2016. Western Michigan further sweetened the deal by hammering Conference USA champion Kennesaw State 41-6 in the Myrtle Beach Bowl, producing a final record of 10-4.

Now, one of the architects responsible for Western Michigan’s second-winningest season in school history is running it back. Quarterback Broc Lowry and the football program announced on their social media accounts that Lowry is remaining in Kalamazoo for 2026…
