‘I just can’t imagine if that were my daughter’

Hundreds of Kalamazoo County residents protested outside the Judge Charles A. Pratt Justice Center in downtown Kalamazoo Thursday evening, raising concerns about the death of Renee Nicole Good.

The 37-year-old Minneapolis woman was fatally shot Wednesday by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, who has been identified by the Minnesota Star-Tribune as Jonathan Ross. There are multiple confirmed videos of the incident. The FBI is conducting an investigation. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said it has been excluded from the investigation or accessing evidence. Trump administration officials have claimed the ICE officer was acting in self defense. Family members, supporters, and eyewitnesses dispute that, and say Good was unjustly killed.
