PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) — A Portage family said they went more than a week without heat in below-freezing temperatures after their propane provider failed to refill their tank when promised, leaving their home colder than the outdoors.
Mitchell Budahn told News 8 that when he called and paid to have his propane tank refilled, he expected the delivery to take a couple of days. What he didn’t expect was nearly two weeks of waiting, an empty tank, and a home left without heat.
