West MI tribal judge receives national award for aiding domestic violence survivors

FULTON, Mich. — A tribal judge based out of West Michigan is receiving national attention for her work in domestic and sexual violence law.

“I am incredibly grateful for this honor,” says Chief Judge Melissa L. Pope of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi.
