PORTAGE, MI — Zap Zone brought more than 3,000 people to The Crossroads mall the weekend ahead of its Monday, Feb. 16, grand opening.
The two-story, 158,186-square-foot facility at 6780 S. Westnedge Ave. is the Lansing-based entertainment company’s biggest yet, said Owner Mike Hafez.
“In Lansing, we noticed there were people actually driving from Portage … to check out the center,” he said. He’s confident the indoor complex will draw crowds in the Kalamazoo area.
Zap Zone’s XL concept brings arcade games, bowling, go-karts, laser tag and more under one roof.
The developers didn’t forget dining, either. Rocko’s Bar and Grill offers pub fare for all ages, and a full bar for adults, inside the arcade space…
