Beacon Kalamazoo nurses win 14% raise in new three-year contract

Nurses at Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital overwhelmingly approved a new labor contract that will grant them a 14% pay increase over three years.

The three-year deal with the Michigan Nurses Association also includes incentive pay for all extra shifts and health insurance improvements, including coverage of mental health issues and lower costs for out-of-network services.
