AUDIO: Kalamazoo County board holds another closed session on Asylum Lake Preserve

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo County held another closed session on a proposal that they assume stewardship for the Asylum Lake Preserve last night before voting to approve a memorandum of understanding.

That just means they will start negotiations with Western Michigan University officials as WMU currently maintains the 274-acre parcel on the city of Kalamazoo’s western border.
