At barbershops and salons, customers ‘let the guards down’

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Salons and barbershops are where people go for a fresh cut, but they’re also a place where impactful conversations happen.

“Being able to sort of take a breath and be yourself in the barbershop, it allows people to let the guards down,” therapist Dave Davis explained.
