South Bend, Indiana-Michigan Border – Snow could begin covering lanes along I-80/90 and I-94 by 6 a.m. Sunday, with a 30 to 50 percent chance that at least 2 inches accumulates across northern Indiana and southern Michigan before 6 a.m. Monday.
According to the National Weather Service, a developing winter system tracking east late Saturday night through Sunday night may place the Indiana-Michigan state line in a corridor favorable for accumulating snow. The highest probabilities for 2 inches or more currently include South Bend, Elkhart and Fort Wayne in Indiana, extending north into Kalamazoo and parts of southwest Michigan.
