SUV driver in critical condition after M-51 crash with semi in Van Buren County

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was hospitalized after a traffic crash in Hamilton Township early Wednesday morning.

At around 7:15, deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office (VBCSO) responded to a two vehicle crash with entrapment.

Deputies arrived to find an SUV with heavy damage to its front and driver side. The driver was entrapped, and the Decatur-Hamilton Fire Department assisted in extricating her from the vehicle.
