BARRY COUNTY, Mich. — Around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Barry County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Johnstown Township. They said the crash happened on M-37 Highway near East Bristol Road.
BCSO said the crash involved a 54-year-old Battle Creek man driving a Kia Soul, who was traveling south on M-37, and a 64-year-old Battle Creek woman driving north on M-37 in a Honda Civic.
The man driving the Kia lost control on the wet roadway, according to BCSO, and went into the northbound lane. BCSO said the woman in the Honda was unable to avoid the Kia and the two vehicles collided…
