THREE RIVERS, MICHIGAN — Communities across southern Michigan are beginning the difficult process of recovery after destructive tornadoes tore through several towns, leaving widespread damage across neighborhoods, roads, and rural areas. Emergency response teams and local organizations are now mobilizing relief efforts to help residents affected by the powerful storms.

Officials say the tornado outbreak caused heavy damage across several communities, including Niles, Edwardsburg, Three Rivers, and Union City, along with many rural areas located between these towns.

Tornadoes Leave Severe Damage Across Southern Michigan

Photos taken in the aftermath of the storms reveal scenes of extensive destruction. Entire areas appear covered with debris, while vehicles have been overturned and crushed by falling trees or storm debris.
