Two Kalamazoo teens arrested after guns found during stop; one firearm reported stolen

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two teenage boys were arrested on weapons offenses Monday in Kalamazoo.

Members of the Crime Reduction Team (CRT) were conducting a patrol related to gun violence at Interfaith Homes.

During the patrol, they observed a 14-year-old boy who was wanted on weapon offenses in Kalamazoo County, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) officials said in a release.
