High winds knock out power for thousands in West Michigan

WEST MICHIGAN — Thousands are currently without power in West Michigan.

Right now, roughly 543 outages are affecting over 38,739 Consumers Energy customers statewide, according to their outage map.

This is up from around 20,500 customers being without power at 8 a.m. Thursday.
