KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — A 21‑year‑old Illinois man was killed Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on northbound US‑131, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the area near where the freeway passes over KL Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of a pedestrian involved in a crash. When first responders arrived, they found the man in the roadway with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
