Curated exhibits spotlight stories behind America’s cars at Gilmore Car Museum

HICKORY CORNERS, Mich. — The Gilmore Car Museum is the largest of its kind in the country, showcasing the stories behind American automobiles of the past and present.

Included in the museum’s collection is one of the first checkered taxi cabs built by Checker Motors in Kalamazoo.
