Kalamazoo airport workers donate to unpaid TSA employees amid shutdown

KALAMAZOO, MI — Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents are getting support from people they work alongside at the airport during a government funding shutdown.

TSA employees nationwide, including those at Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO), are currently working without pay during the partial government shutdown, Public Relations Coordinator Thomas Larthridge told MLive on Friday, March 27.
