KALAMAZOO, MI — Amidst a plethora of Michigan State and Chicago sports paraphernalia, Mike Odar has a small placard in his office with the number seven.
Given to him when Greenleaf Trust celebrated the hiring of its 100th employee last decade, the placard serves as a reminder that there were only six others working at the Kalamazoo-based wealth management firm when he was hired as a 29-year-old junior analyst in 1999.
Odar, now the CEO, jokes that he has a few more gray hairs these days…
