KALAMAZOO, Mich. — As gas prices remain elevated amid ongoing overseas conflict, some Kalamazoo businesses are feeling the impact in a place customers may not immediately see: the cost of delivery.
At Kazoopy’s Pizza and Grinders, operations manager Scott Strawhun said higher fuel prices are affecting the day-to-day reality for drivers who rely on their vehicles to get orders out on time.
Unlike larger chains that may have broader resources to offset rising costs, locally-owned restaurants often feel those increases more directly.
