Tornado warning issued for St. Joseph County

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning in Northern Indiana on Thursday, April 2, from until 11 p.m.. This warning applies to Cass and St. Joseph counties in Michigan.

Officials also warn of hail as large as 0.75 inches.

The NWS warns: “TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.”
