How to Vote for the Best Air Show

Last year Battle Creek Field of Flight Airshow and Balloon Festival was voted No. 4 in the country in a USA Today 10best Readers’ poll. Can we get it to No. 1 in 2026? It’s competing with 19 other air shows selected by experts and now it’s up to a public vote.

You can vote once per day through May 6 here.

Battle Creek Field of Flight is July 1 through 5 in 2026. The festival combines military and civilian air demonstrations with twilight and night shows, fireworks, concerts, carnival rides, hot air balloon launches, shopping, food vendors, a marathon and 5K, and more.

2026 Air Show Lineup Highlights

The 2026 lineup is packed with top performers. Highlights include the F-35A Lightning II Demo Team, the Golden Knights parachute team, Skip Stewart in his Pitts biplane “Prometheus,” Mini Jet Airshows featuring the SubSonex Microjet, and Misty Blues, an all-women skydiving team. The festival also honors the late aerobatic legend Rob Holland.

Concerts, Military Day, Kids Day

Musical acts include:

  • The American Ride Toby Keith Tribute – July 1, 7:30 p.m.
  • Tyler Roy Band – July 2, 7:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
  • Megan Rae Band – July 3, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
  • The Insiders Tom Petty Tribute – July 4, 9:30 p.m.
  • The Air Force Roots in Blue Top 40 Ensemble – July 5, 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Kids Day is Wednesday, July 1. The first 800 children that enter the festival will get a gift pack and can get signed up to win a new bike…
