Michigan Mom Charged After Husband Found In Basement: “Make Sure He Was Out Of His Misery”

A 31-year-old Michigan woman is behind bars this week after police say she shot her husband multiple times inside their Battle Creek home, later telling investigators she opened fire to “make sure he was out of his misery.”

Andrea Graham was taken into custody Monday afternoon and now faces charges of open murder and a felony firearm offense in the death of her husband, Alan Graham.

The incident unfolded around 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of South Ridgeway Drive, roughly 120 miles west of Detroit. According to the Battle Creek Police Department, officers arriving at the scene were met by Andrea Graham outside the house…
