Colonial Kitchen on Drake Road in Kalamazoo has permanently closed, according to one post on a local Facebook group. The restaurant, which once had multiple locations, has closed its doors for good, and the community has feelings as they shared the news.

I’m hearing that Colonial Kitchen on Drake Road has permanently closed. Not surprising, as prices had gotten really high and there was never anyone in there in recent times. I was there recently on a Sunday at 9:00 am, and there were only two tables, when years ago the place would have been packed at that time of day, with a wait.
Unfortunately, this comes roughly a year and a half after their other location, originally on Westnedge, made the announcement that they would be closing, leaving only the Drake location standing:…
