Joy Heitger’s County Farm collection goes to auction on Sunday

FAWN RIVER TWP., MI — A series of auctions to sell the possessions of Joy Heitger, who spent 50 years filling the St. Joseph County Infirmary or Poor Farm with her eclectic collection, begins Sunday, April 26, at 11 a.m.

“Joy was one of the area’s most colorful, original, quirky, and eccentric collectors,” said White Barn Auctioneer Randy Ludwick.
