Lakeshore softball finding stride after sweeping No. 1 Paw Paw in doubleheader

STEVENSVILLE, Mich. (WNDU) – The Lakeshore Lancers swept No. 1 Paw Paw in a doubleheader Tuesday, backed by strong pitching and defense.

“Honestly, it is such a relief to have such a good defense because then I don’t have to worry about striking everyone out, and instead can worry about getting my pitches into their spots and getting ground balls,” said Lily Dustin, a senior pitcher at Lakeshore. “I know they will make plays.”
