Jeff Titus, who spent 21 years in prison after wrongful conviction, gets $5.25 million in settlement

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A wrongfully convicted man who spent more than 20 years in prison for the murders of two hunters will get millions in a settlement reached on Monday.

Jeff Titus will receive $5.25 million in the settlement with the insurance company of one of the cold case detectives who targeted him, according to Titus’s attorney Wolf Mueller…
