Teen charged with assault after gas station shooting in Independence

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A teenager has been charged as an adult for a shooting that injured one person at an Independence gas station.

Court documents filed in Jackson County charge William A. Chaney, a juvenile who was certified as an adult in family court on May 21, with four felony charges.
