After moving across state lines, popular BBQ restaurant to close Overland Park location

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – In July 2024, Harp Barbecue announced it would close its Raytown location and move to Overland Park. Less than two years later, that restaurant is closing its doors.

An Instagram post stated that Harp Barbecue’s last day of business will be Saturday, May 30.

“It’s all been extremely difficult,” owner Tyler Harp said in a video. “We have the fewest employees we’ve ever had. We have basically the fewest customers we’ve had. We put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into trying to make the best food we can make.”…
