Kansas City man charged after shooting at attacker

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. — A 20-year-old Kansas City man accused of shooting at an assailant who punched him faces a bond review hearing Tuesday morning.

Jackson Neil Garvis is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond, with his hearing set for 9 a.m.
