LENEXA, Kan. (KCTV) – A truck and trailer loaded with trash caught fire on westbound I-435 near the I-35 interchange, snarling traffic during the morning commute.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the fire broke out on Wednesday morning, June 17, and has not resulted in injuries.
KC Scout shows the fire was reported around 9:25 a.m. Traffic on westbound I-435 has been reduced to two lanes at the scene.
