PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. (KCTV) – Argentina Empanadas has had a busy few weeks leading up to and during the World Cup. Owner Ivan Acuña says their Prairie Village location, Buenos Aires restaurant in Shawnee, Fan Fest booth, and wholesale business have seen 10,000 empanadas sold a week for the last few weeks.
“It’s been crazy busy, but I’m so happy to be doing this for our country,” said Acuña. “To represent who we are with our food and for everybody here to be so excited for the World Cup and Argentina and the U.S.”
