KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Daniel Oordt has been the face of the Dutch national soccer team fandom for the past 11 years.
“A couple of the camera operators in the stadium picked it up, and it started getting a little bit of traction in the Netherlands,” Oordt said.
Then during the 2022 World Cup, Oordt was in multiple cutscenes for the Dutch goals, especially the match against the United States. The Netherlands went on to take that game 3-1, and from that point on, Oordt went viral on social media.
