The first team to finish the Missouri 340 race down the Missouri River was The River Hawk Boat Shop team, “The Ocho.” The team finished in first place Wednesday with a time of 38 hours and 18 minutes, winning the Governor’s Cup.
The Missouri 340 is a 340-mile kayak and canoe race down the Missouri River from Kansas City to St. Charges. Racers started Tuesday. Many racers reached the Jefferson City checkpoint at the Noren River Access on Wednesday. The final racers are expected to complete the trek today…
