KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Weather Service (NWS) has released its preliminary report after storms earlier in the week left a trail of damage across the Kansas City area.
The NWS report determined the storm had a 10-mile path of extreme wind damage, with gusts ranging from 70 to 100 mph.
