KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Kansas, street is being renamed in honor of an officer killed in the line of duty last year.
The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD) announced on Monday that a ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 26, on the one-year anniversary of the tragic line-of-duty death of Officer Hunter Simoncic.
