KC nonprofit leader says East Side has waited long enough, now he’s asking for $50K to prove it

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City nonprofit is launching a grassroots effort to rebuild commercial corridors on the city’s East Side, with a long-range goal of attracting up to $2 billion in philanthropic investment.

Quality Day Campus Inc. (QDC Inc.), a 501(c)(3) organization based at 3943 Paseo Blvd., is organizing the effort through the American Economic Empowerment Network (AEEN) and its community-led War on Poverty Initiative.
