Six individuals have been indicted by a federal grand jury on allegations that they participated in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and cocaine in the Kansas City area.
The defendants named in the 16-count federal indictment are:
- Brandon A. McAfee, 40, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri
- Arthelle McClain, 70, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Joe F. Fuller, Jr., 44, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Shelia M. M. Gordon, 64, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Anthony S. S. Conaway, 48, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Marshall D. Jackson, 49, of Kansas City, Missouri
The indictment was returned under seal Aug. 25, 2026, by a federal grand jury in Kansas City, Missouri. It was unsealed and made public last week following the arrests and initial court appearances of five of the defendants.
