KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A three-car crash on westbound Interstate 70 near Interstate 435 was moved to the shoulder early Wednesday morning, but drivers are still facing delays due to nearby roadwork.
Kansas City police responded to the crash around 5:50 a.m. While the collision is on the shoulder and not directly blocking traffic, the ramp in the area remains heavily backed up.
Transportation officials reported the delays are caused by northbound I-435 construction, which has restricted traffic to a single lane. The roadwork is expected to clear soon.
